Thai Cookin’

Elizabeth invited Jasmine and I to her home on Wednesday to participate in a cooking class, taught by one of her CSA shareholders, Sarah.  She teaches them every other week in the summer and the theme is world cooking, so each class samples a different country’s cuisine.  This week was Thai food.

The dishes we made were spring rolls as an appetizer (see recipe), a thick tofu-vegetable curry, sauteed kale, a cucumber salad, and a soy sauce beef pad thai.  They all turned out yummy!

Making the spring rolls was a little difficult, but we had fun doing it:

Everything was obviously delicious and we ate on Elizabeth’s porch.  We helped ourself to raspberries from her bushes afterward.  We hope to go to more of these interesting and tasty classes this summer.
